The farm Fattoria di Scaletta, in a complex from the 19th century, recently restructured, is located in Valdarno Inferiore, among corn and sunflower fields and vine-yards, not far from San Miniato (Pisa). The ancient centre with Etruscan-Roman origins, is famous for its castle built by the Emperor Ottone I, the historic convent of San Francisco, not to mention the famous Castle built by Federico Barbarossa. The farm grows corn, sunflowers, beets and grapes. It recently also installed  plant for autochthonous vines( colorino and sangiovese) and also international vine (cabernet sauvignon and syrah).

The farm houses are located in two big houses, with characteristic wooden beams and terracotta floor, each house with its own garden and swimming pool. The first house called "La Villa" features 10 rooms, with totally 20 beds, a living-room with open fire, kitchen and dining-room. In the second house, "Il Girasole" there are 2 apartments connected to each other. The biggest apartment has 7 beds and the smaller 3 beds. Perfect for groups who want to spend a relaxing holiday in the heart of Tuscany.
The great location, close to the small railway station of san Miniato Basso (700 m), and the
Motorway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, allows the guests to easily reach all the big art cities, Florence (40 km), Pisa (45 km), Lucca (50 km), Siena (80 km), Volterra (70 km), San Gimignano (40 km). At the reception you can also taste and purchase wines, extra virgin olive oil, vin santo, grappa and other precious products from our farms.
